Comedian
Julianna Forlano has recently relocated to New York City from Chicago where she
took first place in the Reader’s Digest Comedy Competition giving her the title of Chicago’s Funniest
Comedian. A regular
performer in venues across the US, and the opening act for Susie Essman of Curb
Your Enthusiasm, Julianna has
shared the stage with some of the hottest comics on the scene including
Kathleen Madigan, John Oliver, Hal Sparks, Hannibal Burress and many others.

Report of which she
is the host, head writer, and executive producer (segment airs on CurrentTV.com

Julianna
had the honor of performing at the official Inaugural Ball for Barack Obama in
Chicago. Her comedic take on electoral politics, campaigns and their aftermath
was published in Letters to President Obama(Skyhorse Publishing, 2009). Julianna has contributed to The Chicago
Sun Times and was chosen
as a featured comedian on TV’s Comcast Comedy Spotlight and WFLD TV’s Good Day Chicago.
A talented improv comic as well, Julianna has
performed with groups around the country, including 2 years as a member of
Chicago’s Second City Conservatory. Since relocating to New York City, Julianna has already performed
professionally at some of the most exciting venues in the city including
Caroline’s, Comix, New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and the 92nd
Street Y Tribeca. She serves as a professor in the TV & Radio
Department of Brooklyn College
where she teaches Comedy
Scriptwriting and Broadcast Journalism. She continues to write, host, and produce,
The Ironic News Report and give live performances around the country
and in New York City.
