Giulia Rozzi is a NYC based comedian, actress and writer raised in Boston by two adorable Italian immigrants. Her very personal, blunt, and animated comedy has earned her the honor of being a Boston Comedy Festival finalist, one of The Frisky’s “Top 15 Comediennes You Should Be Laughing At” and two ECNY “Best Female Stand Up” nominations.She has appeared on MTV, Vh1, Italian Mtv, CNN, and Jimmy Kimmel and has been featured in BUST, Glamour and Arena magazines. Every month Giulia and longtime friend Margot Leitman co-host the popular and highly acclaimed sex-themed storytelling show Stripped Stories at the UCB Theatre in NYC and annually in cities across the country. She is an alumn of both the Improv Olympic West (where her first solo show Stupid Foreigners debuted) and The Upright Citizens Brigade improv training programs , was trained in sketch comedy with the Groundlings, and is currently studying acting with Kelly Kimball of Kimball Studios in Manhattan. Giulia has been seen in ad campaigns for Windex, Ford, iParty, NBC and recently starred in the independent film "Party Like It's A Verb."
As a writer Giulia has contributed to Playgirl, NY Press, Lemondrop, Lifetimetv.com, Gawker. The Huffington Post, Shoestring Magazine, and the soon-to-be released anthology “When My Parents Were Awesome.” She has written numerous scripts for stage and screen and is the creator of the original web series The TheMessage-Board.com.
